This unique Cargo Tank Model was developed by STTS for the sole purpose of training firefighters and emergency responders in the construction features and operational features of the DOT-412 Cargo Tank. Each unit is an authentic replica of the operational system found on the top-unloading version of DOT-412 Cargo Tanks. The dome-lid on this unit can be sealed and pressurized for the purposes of creating leaks and incorporating the prop into training scenarios and exercises. This training model can be used in the classroom or out in the field to educate responders in regard to the operating parts of the operational system, dome area and all emergency devices.
